The Kyle Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify two male suspects involved in a series of door-kicking incidents in the Plum Creek neighborhood. According to reports from CBS Austin, the destructive actions took place early Sunday morning, May 4, at about 3:30 a.m.
Officers were promptly dispatched to the 1880 block following reports of property damage. It has since been suggested that the vandalism could be connected to a recent trend circulating on social media. Law enforcement is now looking to urgently and quickly gather more information, potentially from anyone who might have captured video evidence of the misdeeds unfolding.
While the investigation into this apparent fad-fueled vandalism is ongoing, local authorities are emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. As homes have sustained substantial damage, the need to hold those responsible accountable grows ever more pressing. It is not just a matter of repairing a physical structure but also restoring a sense of safety and peace within the community.
Residents with any knowledge pertinent to the case are urged to come forward. Detective Struble is the point of contact and can be reached through his email, [email protected], or by phone at 512-268-3232. According to News 4 San Antonio, the Kyle Police Department hopes that the community will be able to assist in not only identifying the individuals involved.
