Residents of Lawrenceville now have a more convenient way to handle one of the most mundane errands. The City Hall has opened a new walk-up payment window for utility bills, allowing customers to pay their dues without the need to step inside the building or wait in a line. Announced yesterday on the city's official website, this service aims to provide an efficient alternative for those on the go.

"Choose to use the walk up utility payment window to conveniently make utility payments in person without entering the building and passing through security," stated the announcement on the City's website. However, it does not mean that other payment options are going anywhere. The drive-thru service and drop box, long-standing alternatives for utility payment, will remain available for public use.

Strategically located on Clayton Street on the second level of City Hall, the new utility payment window is designed for easy public access. While many residents now pay bills online, this window offers a convenient option for those who prefer or need to pay in person. It also helps reduce foot traffic inside City Hall, improving security and overall efficiency.
