According to a report by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, District 5 officers were called to the scene at around 3:11 p.m. in the 4300 block of St. Ferdinand. They discovered a 43-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
