On Tuesday, a shooting disturbed the relative calm of Sylvan Road SW, leaving a 30-year-old male with gunshot wounds. The incident, reported by Atlanta Police Department, unfolded around 8:17 PM, spurring swift action from local law enforcement officials.
Officers immediately headed to the scene at 1823 Sylvan Road SW upon receiving the call of the shooting and found the victim, who was wounded in the abdomen and left arm. He was, however, alert, conscious, and breathing. First responders transported him to a local hospital, where he began his fight for recovery.
