Manhunt Underway for Suspect Kimani Copeland in Fayetteville Man's Murder, GBI and Manchester PD Seek Public's Aid

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Manchester Police Department are on a manhunt for Kimani Copeland, a suspect implicated in a recent homicide. Copeland faces charges of aggravated assault and murder following an incident that claimed the life of 29-year-old Shawn Jackson, Jr. of Fayetteville, GA. The fatal event unfolded last Wednesday.

According to the GBI's statement, the shooting occurred around midnight on Maple Street, where a disagreement between two individuals escalated tragically in front of a Manchester home. Officers responding to the call found Jackson Jr. had suffered gunshot wounds, his death pronounced at the scene, the result of an argument turned deadly.

As the investigation presses forward, law enforcement is turning to the public for assistance in locating Copeland.
