For those living in Maricopa County, the BeBallotReady.Vote website is experiencing a hiccup due to technical issues. They've estimated the outage will last from several hours to a full day. The same goes for the main Recorder's website, which is down for some planned TLC.
Voters eagerly looking to digitally record documents or access certain online services will have to momentarily pause. The county has promised that in-person operations at the downtown office are not affected and remain a bastion for those who need to get their affairs in order. This hiccup, while inconvenient, thankfully isn't expected to mess with voter records or registration.
As reported by the Maricopa County Recorder's office, "Please be assured that this maintenance does not affect voter records, voter registration, or access to public information."
For those particularly anxious to keep a close eye on their participation in the upcoming May 20 Jurisdictional Election, fret not. There's a workaround to keep to potentially track your ballot's journey by simply texting JOIN to 628-683.
