Residents of Surprise, Arizona, looking to enjoy some leisure time at Mark Coronado Park, will need to adjust their plans for the next few weeks. According to a city announcement, the popular park is set for routine maintenance starting Monday, May 26, through Friday, June 13.
During the closure, locals and visitors alike will be temporarily deprived of the usual park activities. For those itching for green spaces, the Sports & Tourism Office has provided alternatives; just head over to surpriseaz.gov/Parks for a list of where to go.
The park is expected to be back in action, welcoming guests come Saturday, June 14, operating during its regular hours from 6 a.m. until dusk. Whether it's for early morning jogs or sunset strolls, patrons can soon enjoy the park's amenities once the maintenance is wrapped up.
In the meantime, park enthusiasts should direct any questions to the Sports & Tourism Office by calling 623.222.2222.
