The County of Maui has announced a hiring extravaganza set for May 15 at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., more than 20 County departments will be there, ready to spill about current job openings, dive into the realities of working for the County, and even hold live interviews, according to the County of Maui.

As a sweetener to the deal, prize giveaways will be up for grabs throughout the day. And to keep things lively, local radio personalities like Ed & Brandi from 99.9 KISS FM and Mackie from 98.3 DaJam will be conducting live broadcasts during the event, the County of Maui shared in a recent release.

Attendees looking to get a leg up are nudged to apply online for positions ahead of time. The County of Maui suggests doing so might give job seekers a leading edge when it comes to interacting with department reps and, this is key, the interview panels. Although, there will be support on site for those needing assistance with applications.

"This is a great opportunity to connect directly with County departments and jumpstart your career with the County of Maui," Cynthia Razo-Porter, County Department of Personnel Services Director, told the County of Maui News. The department is responsible for rallying the troops, so to speak, when it comes to filling the ranks within the County.
