Details about the assault surfaced in a social media plea from the police department, urging anyone who may recognize the person of interest to step forward. "ID Sought re: Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon-Pepper Spray. 5/25 10PM Red Line train #MBTA Central Sq. Station. Unprovoked attacked on another passenger via Pepper Spray," the post read, accompanied by a snapshot of the suspect in question.
