The Memphis PD statement identified 32-year-old Marquaveous Jones as the suspect after an investigation revealed his alleged involvement in a dice game that turned violent. Authorities say that Jones demanded money while brandishing a firearm, shot the victim, and then took the victim's money before fleeing.
Jones, who already has a history of felony convictions, is now charged with First Degree Murder in the Perpetration of a Robbery and as a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun, as reported by the Memphis Police Department.
