A man was left critically wounded after an altercation at Pine Hill Golf Course in Memphis, which resulted in him being run over by a vehicle. On Thursday, at around 12:40 p.m., Memphis Police Department officers arrived at the scene following a call about an aggravated assault, as reported by Action News 5.

Information provided to the police states that the incident occurred when the victim was heading back to his vehicle and happened to notice an unidentified individual inside his white Chevrolet pickup truck. In an attempt to quickly approach his truck, the victim slipped on the wet pavement, an unfortunate misstep that allowed the suspect to drive over him. The suspect then fled the scene in a gray Kia Sportage, leaving the victim with multiple injuries, including fractures to his leg and hip.

The authorities are yet to apprehend the suspect, whose escape vehicle is believed to be a 2020 model of the Kia Sportage, now likely to exhibit noticeable damage to its left front fender and wheel.
