The Memphis Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Whitehaven. According to Action News 5, on the late evening of May 8, a man was discovered shot to death inside a car on Bonnie Drive.
Responding to reports around 11:25 p.m., officers arrived at the scene to find the victim deceased in the vehicle. The suspect, described as wearing a ski mask along with a black jacket and red pants, is said to have approached the victim's car before firing. The suspect had approached the victim in a manner that suggests premeditation, walking up to the vehicle, per Action News 5.
FOX13 Memphis reports that the shooting took place just before 11:30 p.m. on Bonnie Drive, off East Raines Road. The Memphis Police are actively searching for the suspect involved in this fatal incident.
