The Memphis Police Department is looking for RC Alexander, 62, after he was reportedly shot and went missing from the front yard of his home in South Memphis. According to Action News 5, his girlfriend found him with a gunshot wound and went to a nearby store to get help.

Police said that when the girlfriend came back with officers, Alexander was no longer at the spot where she had left him, as reported by Local Memphis.  Witnesses said they saw a man who looked like Alexander—about six feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing a black shirt and tan pants—walking toward an area where people often pass by after midnight.

Memphis Police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, as mentioned by FOX13 Memphis. Officers found spent shell casings at the scene, but Alexander was not there and is still missing. A City Watch alert has been issued, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Missing Person Bureau at 901-545-2677.
