
The Memphis Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying suspects involved in a series of shoplifting incidents reported in late April and early May. On April 27, a woman was captured on surveillance stealing two bottles of vodka, valued at $60, from Buster's Wine and Liquor. On April 25, two suspects took snacks worth $40 from a Shell Gas Station. The total value of stolen items from these incidents is several hundred dollars, impacting local businesses, as reported by the Memphis Police Department.
On last Tuesday, a male suspect was confronted by a female clerk at Tienda Dayeli for attempting to steal merchandise, leading to an altercation in which the clerk was pushed into a wall. On April 22, an assault occurred at Belz Boulevard and Asa Drive, resulting in a male victim requiring hospital treatment. The suspect was captured on video during the incident, as stated by the Memphis Police Department.
According to the Memphis Police Department on their Facebook page, several recent incidents of theft and assault are under investigation. The department is requesting assistance from the public to identify those responsible. No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
