This weekend, Miami is bringing together residents of all faiths for a day of community, celebration, and support. Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez is hosting the inaugural Faith & Family Festival at the Miami-Dade Fair & Expo Center. Slated this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival is set to be a vibrant mix of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community services, as per the county's official website.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including basketball tournaments, bounce houses for the kids, talent shows brimming with local flair, and face painting. In keeping with the Festival's inclusive spirit, a special guest speaker will address the crowd on topics pertaining to faith and community. Additionally, the event promises to cater to animal lovers with a petting zoo.
The festival also aims to lend a helping hand to those in need; 2,000 families will receive food distributions. According to the official press release, county and state resources will also be available during the event. This initiative represents a tangible effort to support and uplift members of the community who may be facing hardships.
Entry to the festival is free, emphasizing an open invitation to all who wish to take part in this communal gathering. The Miami-Dade Fair & Expo Center at 11201 SW 24th St. will become a hub of joy, music, and shared values this Saturday.
