The Minneapolis-St. Paul Soap Box Derby is rolling into Deming Heights Park for the second year in a row on Saturday. For those keen on witnessing some gravity-powered action, the cars, which have been crafted by local park-goers under the tutelage of seasoned instructors, will be going head to head in a battle for the title of quickest team in the Twin Cities.

It's a project that merges community engagement with STEM education, as teams employ their skills to create these streamlined racers.
