Morrison County residents looking to stay up-to-date on decisions that impact their community should mark their calendars for a series of meetings hosted by the Morrison County Board of Commissioners from May 11 to May 17, 2025. The series kicks off with an engagement at the Yellow Ribbon event at the American Legion in Little Falls, MN, on May 12 at 3:30 pm. According to a public notice by the county, the planning session scheduled for May 13 at 8:30 am has been canceled.
Despite the cancellation, the county's agenda remains full. On the same day, at 9:00 am, the Budget Committee Meeting will convene in the County Board Room, located at the Government Center in Little Falls. Later in the evening, at 6:00 pm, the Board of Adjustment will also meet in the same room. Those wishing to participate in any of these meetings, especially any individuals needing accommodations, are advised to swiftly contact the county officials at least 48 hours in advance, a request detailed in the county's official notice.
The week continues with the Morrison Todd Wadena Community Health Board meeting on May 14 at 4:00 pm, an event aimed at addressing health issues within the community. This particular meeting will be held in a more casual setting at the Pizza Ranch in Wadena, MN, reflective of the community-focused approach to health and well-being.
The agenda concludes with the Agricultural Society gathering on May 16 at 7:00 pm, at the County Fairgrounds, Little Falls. This meeting is a key platform for local agriculture stakeholders to plan, discuss, and advance the interests of the Ag community within the county. Residents and those invested in the agricultural sector of Morrison County are encouraged to attend and to voice their concerns and proposals.
