Preparations are underway for the second Lincoln Beach Industry Day, scheduled for tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Joe Brown Gymnasium in New Orleans. The event will provide updates on the Lincoln Beach restoration project and offer information about upcoming contract bidding opportunities.
According to the City of New Orleans, registration remains open, and interested participants can sign up in advance. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions beforehand to [email protected] with "Lincoln Beach Industry Day" in the subject line to assist with organizing the Q&A session.
The event will begin with a General Session from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., providing an overview of the project and available contracting opportunities. Presentation slides will be shared with registered participants after the event.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a networking session will take place at the same location, offering a space for prime contractors and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to connect and discuss potential collaboration on the project.
