
The New Orleans Police Department seeks public assistance in the apprehension of a suspect involved in a recent kidnapping incident. NOPD News reports that Dana Delesia Spiers is the individual wanted in connection with a simple kidnapping that took place on yesterday.
Spiers, a Black female born on November 25, 1979, described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 285 pounds, is accused of unlawfully taking a child, who is the offspring of an acquaintance, from the 4900 block of Citrus Drive in New Orleans; the authorities have since issued a warrant for her arrest but she remains at large, according to the NOPD.
The police have not released any additional details on the circumstances surrounding the alleged kidnapping or the current status of the child involved. They urge anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Spiers to come forward and provide assistance in order to ensure the child's safety and well-being.
