New Orleans Police have issued a call for help from the public in tracking down a suspect connected to a recent theft involving a firearm. The subject of the search is Saniyah Snowden, described as a Black female, with the date of birth listed as December 14, 2003. Snowden stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 123 pounds. Records indicate her last known residence was in Marrero, Louisiana.
As reported by the NOPD News, Snowden allegedly took a handgun from a home located in the 5500 block of Tullis Drive. The incident seemingly occurred in the early morning hours around 12:57 a.m. on April 30, 2025, and was captured by surveillance equipment.
The police request that anyone with information regarding Snowden’s whereabouts come forward. Anonymous tips are encouraged to ensure a secure channel for information while safeguarding the tipster’s identity.
