
The New Orleans Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify and capture a suspect in a recent auto burglary case. The incident, which occurred last Sunday, involves an unidentified individual who broke into a vehicle and made off with personal items.
According to the NOPD, the burglary transpired around 9:05 p.m., on the 700 block of Canal Street, a location frequented by residents and tourists alike. Police have released a description of the suspect: a Black female, approximately 30 years old, who they believe could be homeless. There is an appeal to anyone with information that may lead to the identification, or the location of the suspect to come forward.
