Lake Minnewashta Regional Park just got a whole lot more exciting for families looking to indulge in some outdoor fun. This past weekend, Carver County Parks unveiled its shiny new playground to a crowd that could easily be a small town's entire population. "A big THANK YOU to all the families who came out today to celebrate the grand opening of the new playground at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park," exuberated a post on their official Facebook page.
According to the Carver County Parks, there were smiles all around as children dashed from slides to swings, and parents got to either join in the fun or take a much-deserved breather. "We hope you had as much fun as we did and that the new playground becomes a favorite stop of yours for years to come," the post read.
