The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced nightly lane closures on I-10 Westbound, which started last Sunday. The affected area extends from mile marker 117, near the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, to mile marker 108, near the Bayou Teche Bridge.

The lane closures are for asphalt pavement repairs aimed at maintaining road safety.

No detour routes have been designated, as the roadway will remain partially open. However, drivers should expect slower traffic. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through but may also experience delays.
