North Las Vegas residents can meet local leaders and take part in outdoor activities this weekend. Commissioner William McCurdy II and Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black are hosting a "Day in the Park" at Deer Springs Park on Saturday. The event will include food, games, and activities for all ages. Free food will be available while supplies last, according to the City of North Las Vegas.
Clark County and the City of North Las Vegas are working together on an event at the park, starting at 11 a.m. "Community connections are essential to building stronger neighborhoods," McCurdy said in a proclamation from the City of North Las Vegas. Mayor Pro Tem Black added, "These gatherings help us foster meaningful relationships with residents while providing a fun day of activities that everyone can enjoy."
The "Day in the Park" event will take place at Deer Springs Park, 6550 Aviary Way, North Las Vegas, NV 89084, featuring various recreational activities for all ages.
