The New York Police Department is requesting public assistance in connection with a grand larceny auto case in the Bronx, according to a statement from NYPD Crimestoppers.
The suspect, described by the NYPD as a male, entered the unoccupied luxury sedan and drove off southbound on Soundview Avenue, as noted in a social media post by the NYPD Crimestoppers.
The NYPD Crimestoppers’ request for public assistance is part of efforts to address auto theft. A tip line has been made available, and individuals with information related to the incident are encouraged to contact 800-577-TIPS to support the investigation.
