A double shooting in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood last night left one man dead and another critically injured. According to NBC Boston, police responded to a call near 38 Franklin Hill Avenue at approximately 9:46 p.m. and found two individuals with life-threatening injuries.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where one adult male was pronounced dead. The second victim remains in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not been released.
No arrests have been made, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. Homicide detectives secured the scene and began collecting evidence. Boston 25 News reports that the investigation is ongoing.
