Officers were dispatched immediately following the incident, leading to a quick and effective resolution. According to the San Jose Police Department, "Thanks to the rapid response and strong teamwork, Officers quickly located the suspect and safely took him into custody."

The quick reaction of the police led to the recovery of a loaded rifle from the suspect’s vehicle, removing the potential for further escalation or tragedy. As a result of their actions, the suspect now faces multiple felony charges and has been booked into the SCC Main Jail.
