State Senator Avery Frix has voiced his support following the Senate Business and Insurance Committee’s approval of Jack Hodge’s nomination to the Oklahoma New Motor Vehicle Commission.
In a recent press release by the Oklahoma Senate, Sen. Frix cited Hodge’s background in the automotive industry as a strong asset to the commission. “Jack Hodge has extensive experience in the car industry that will be invaluable to this commission,” Frix stated. He also acknowledged Hodge’s involvement in the Muskogee community.
Hodge is a second-generation car dealer and currently leads the James Hodge Auto Group. His family has operated in the automotive business since 1969, with dealerships across northeastern and southeastern Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma New Motor Vehicle Commission is responsible for overseeing the regulation of motor vehicle practices and dealerships in the state. State officials say Hodge’s experience aligns with the commission’s responsibilities and upcoming initiatives.
