Authorities are actively investigating a spate of assaults that occurred in southwest Oklahoma City. In one incident, reported by KOCO, two residents engaged in a physical altercation that left one individual with a serious laceration. The dispute happened near Southwest 65th Street and May Avenue, with police continuing to delve into the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
On a related note, a man was attacked while he was sleeping, sustaining injuries that landed him in the hospital. According to News 9, the victim was struck on the head around 3:00 a.m. near Southwest 55th Street and South May Avenue. The identity of the assailant remains unknown with no arrests made thus far.
Further compounding the violent outbursts in this Oklahoma City neighborhood, KFOR reports another victim was discovered with a head wound after being struck by a bottle. This assault occurred in close proximity to the prior incidents, at around the same time, and also resulted in hospitalization of the injured individual.
