Last week, an armed robbery in San Francisco's Lombard Street led to a dramatic pursuit and the arrest of four suspects by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), which they reported on their official news release. On Sunday, at around 4:02 PM, officers were called to the 1100 block of Lombard Street after two victims reported being accosted by armed assailants demanding property, and, when unsuccessful, the attackers fled in a vehicle.

Utilizing technology, such as Automated License Reader (ALPR) cameras and SFPD drones, officers spotted the suspect vehicle, and plainclothes officers joined in on the operation to apprehend the suspects who had then traveled to the area of Division and Bryant streets and were stuck in heavy traffic, at this point, the four suspects abandoned the vehicle in an attempt to evade capture on foot, but SFPD officers in both plainclothes and uniforms gave chase and successfully detained all individuals involved, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The suspects, identified as Jose Arturo Cedeno, 30, Noe Alexander Hernandez, 18, Elder Lariosmayan, 20, and Carlos Geovany Alegria, 22, face a multitude of charges, including attempted robbery, conspiracy, assault with deadly weapons, and, for some, resisting arrest. Notably, one of the individuals, Cedeno, was also apprehended for other outstanding warrants, including grossly negligent discharge of a firearm.
