A tragic incident has left the Southwest Baltimore community in mourning as a 6-year-old boy was found dead from a gunshot wound in his home. According to FOX Baltimore, Baltimore Police responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:45 p.m. on the 800 block of Vine Street this Saturday. Officers arrived to discover the child deceased inside the residence, and medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Details surrounding the events are sparse. However, a handgun was found at the location, raising concerns about firearm safety and the circumstances that led to the fatal incident. As per a WMAR2 News report, no other individuals were present in the house when police arrived.
