The National Weather Service (NWS) of St. Louis, MO has issued a detailed forecast for the upcoming days, predicting a steady rise in temperatures into the beginning of next week. According to the latest update, the city saw a few clouds earlier today with a 57°F reading and is expected to hit a high near 79°F with sunny skies. The NWS also noted a northwest wind at 6 to 11 mph, with potential gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tonight's forecast remains mostly clear with a low around 63 alongside a west wind, traveling 6 to 8 mph. The outlook for Saturday promises continued sunshine and a high near 85°F, with a similar pattern of clear nights and comfortable lows projected for the weekend. St. Louis residents can anticipate the heat reaching nearly 90°F by Monday, which marks the beginning of what seems, an upward temperature trend.
However, as the week progresses, weather conditions are expected to shift. The NWS foresees a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms starting Tuesday afternoon, increasing to a 50 percent chance later that night. These projected storms hint at a potential break from the preceding clear and sunny days.
Midweek, St. Louisans should brace for more persistent showers and possible thunderstorms, with Wednesday showing a 70 percent chance of precipitation, and temperatures reaching a high near 84°F. The pattern of storm risk lingers into Thursday, the area faces a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms yet again, during the day. Despite the rain, temperatures are expected to remain relatively warm, with highs in the low 80s.
