Last Saturday, an unusual incident disrupted the Ponce De Leon Avenue. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a call at 265 Ponce De Leon Ave NE following reports of a stabbing. Onsite, they discovered a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to his hand, the result of a disagreement that turned violent.
The victim was conscious, breathing, and in stable condition when found. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. According to early reports, the incident appears to have started as a verbal argument that escalated into violence. Investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened in the early morning hours.
