Stolen Vehicle Chase Leads to Multiple Arrests in Dayton, 13-Year-Old Detained in Related West Chester Vehicle Break-In Case

A high-speed pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ended with multiple arrests in Dayton following a coordinated law enforcement response. The chase began in Deerfield Township and escalated as the suspects entered Franklin, where local police units joined the Warren County Sheriff's Office in the pursuit. According to Local12, officers could track the vehicle using a Starchase unit and eventually execute a pit maneuver to stop the suspects.

During the intense pursuit, officers attempted to disable the stolen vehicle by performing pit maneuvers, with one ultimately leading to the car crashing into a lamp post as it entered Dayton city limits. The Franklin Police Department released footage of the chase showing the moment the vehicle was forcefully stopped, as seen on video posted online by WLWT, a Warren County Sheriff's Office-managed pursuit ending with all suspects being taken into custody. As WLWT reports, following the culmination of the chase, all parties involved received medical treatment for injuries before being detained.

In a separate yet seemingly related incident, a 13-year-old has been detained in connection with a vehicle break-in investigation in West Chester. This area has recently seen related criminal activity. Officers utilized drones and a K-9 unit to apprehend the suspect after a 2:15 a.m. call, which reported suspicious activity at The Villas at Kingwood duplex complex, which FOX19 detailed.

This recent arrest follows a chase last month, where three suspects abandoned a stolen car near the same area on Lake Shore Drive, according to a statement by West Chester township spokeswoman Brianna Wooten obtained by FOX19. The suspects from that incident bailed from the vehicle and managed to evade capture on foot. No further information has been released regarding the connection between these events and the high-speed chase that ended in Dayton.
