Miami residents can look forward to another stretch of dry, sunny weather with summer-like temperatures forecasted for the upcoming week. According to the National Weather Service, today's high is expected to be near 86 degrees, under sunny skies, with a humid yet calm breeze settling in later in the afternoon. As the evening approaches, skies will stay mostly clear, with a low around 74 degrees, and the calm is expected to persist after midnight.
The trend of clear skies at night and balmy days continues throughout the weekend. On Friday, Miami is slated to see another sunny high near 87 degrees, with southeast winds rolling in at a gentle pace. Saturday follows suit with a, mostly sunny high edging up to 88 degrees and a light southeast wind. The temperature is predicted to hold steady into Sunday, with mostly clear skies and a low around 76 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Meanwhile, NBC Miami notes an uptick in humidity that accompanies the heat, with Thursday's highs nearing 89 degrees and a more humid atmosphere than that of the previous day's 91-degree scorcher. However, the increase in humidity won't bring rainfall, as the area enters the rainy season dry, with no rain predicted in the immediate seven-day forecast.
"We will see the 90s along with humidity, however, so take it easy out there!" NBC Miami advises, signaling that despite the forecasted dry spell, the climb in humidity could influence outdoor activities. For those planning ahead, Friday is set to be hot, bright, and dry, with highs hovering near 90, and similar conditions are on tap for Saturday. The weekend concludes with a high of about 91 on Sunday.
