As the evening rolls in, the temperature is set to drop to a comfortable 60 degrees, accompanied by an easy east wind that could reach 21 mph.
The NWS notes that similar conditions are expected to persist through the weekend with clear skies and daytime highs hovering in the low to mid-80s. Saturday and Sunday nights will respectively dip to lows around 59 and 63 degrees. But, it is on Monday when enthusiasts of warmer weather will find their stride, as temperatures are projected to climb near the mid-90s.
Continuing into next week, the forecast remains mostly sunny on Monday with a significant jump in daytime temperatures, potentially reaching 95 degrees. Winds are expected to shift from southeast to west in the afternoon, with possible gusts up to 20 mph. "Mostly cloudy" conditions will greet El Pasoans by nightfall with lows around 70, according to the National Weather Service.
The warm spell is forecasted to continue through Tuesday, where the day's high might peak near 94 degrees. West winds will again rise in the afternoon, this time with gusts that could exceed 30 mph. The warmth slightly recedes as midweek approaches, with the NWS predicting partly sunny conditions and a high near 89 for Wednesday, followed by mostly cloudy skies and a low around 66 at night.
