The Sheriff's Office's public statement, as reported on their website, relayed the development succinctly: "The suspect has been taken into custody at 10:42 a.m. without incident."
Relief followed anxiety as no injuries were reported, a situation that the law enforcement agencies involved in the operation surely take pride in. "No injuries have been reported in connection with this incident," the statement further clarified. However, residents can expect a continued presence of emergency personnel around the scene.
The Sheriff's Office has maintained that there is, at present, "no known danger to the public."
