
After a multi-state search, Adam McCree, 28, of Dorchester, has been captured in New York, according to the Boston Police Department. McCree was the subject of a manhunt following an alleged attempted kidnapping and assault and battery in South Boston early Sunday morning, May 25.
According to the announcement on the Boston Police Department's official website, McCree was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service, along with the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force. Before his arrest in New York, he was believed to have been in the Dorchester area, then presumably fled to New York, this LINK, following the incident.
