Set to take place from June 6 to June 8, the 3rd Annual Mega Dog Adoption Event promises to put over 300 adorable, adoption-ready dogs in the limelight - each with their own story and dream of finding that forever home, where they will be featured at the Grimes Family Agricultural Center, numerous local animal shelters including those from Hillsborough, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Pasco, Polk, and Sumter Counties have rallied together to make this event a success according to HCFL.gov.

The logistical feat involves ensuring all furry participants are up-to-date on their vaccinations spayed/neutered, and microchipped; these measures have been taken care of all courtesy of the Athletes & Causes Foundation, Pet Resources Foundation, and local philanthropists Chris and Mariah Godwin, not to mention the hosting venue itself, for all adoption fees have been graciously waived ensuring that cost won't hinder love's pursuits this weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday at 2508 W. "This is more than just a great opportunity to welcome a new best friend into your home - it's a chance to give a shelter dog the second chance they deserve," the event organizers express on Hillsborough County.
