This incident, as reported by FOX 8 Live, occurred late yesterday night. The deputies arrived at the scene to find a man declared dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
Further investigations revealed that the teenager shot his father amidst a domestic dispute that escalated violently on Mother's Day. In a statement obtained by WWLTV, officials said the altercation was between the teen's parents before he intervened. Sheriff Pohlmann of the St. Bernard Parish labeled the shooting an "isolated incident."
Amid this family dispute turned deadly, it appears the teen sourced the firearm from within the motel room.
