This morning, a Frayser sports bar became a crime scene after a shooting left two dead and three wounded, the Memphis Police Department confirms. According to Action News 5, the incident occurred at the Infiniti Sports Bar & Grill on N. Watkins Street, which was already surrounded by police when reporters arrived.

The shooting, which police believe started as a fight within the bar that later escalated outside, resulted in gunfire that injured two women and one man, who are in critical condition, alongside the two fatalities, as reported by FOX13 Memphis. One of the deceased was found in the bar's parking lot, and the other victim died after being taken to Regional One Health.

During the chaos, a woman identifying herself as the aunt of the man who died in the parking lot spoke to FOX13 Memphis, stating, "The fights gotta stop," the woman said. "They gotta stop because people ending up dead everywhere. People dead inside the club, outside the club. They killed my nephew, they killed my nephew." This recent violence is not the sports bar's first encounter with gun-related incidents. Earlier in February, an employee accidentally discharged a firearm while cleaning, causing injury.
