Last Friday, Atlanta became the backdrop for yet another scene of gun violence when two men were shot near 2881 Dale Creek Drive NW. The Atlanta Police Department reported that officers were called to Grady Memorial Hospital after the victims, a 24-year-old male with wounds to his groin and right leg and a 25-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds, arrived seeking emergency care.
Both individuals were reported to be in stable condition at the time of the police's arrival at the hospital, located at 80 Jesse Hill Junior Drive SW, and the Atlanta Police Department's initial findings suggest the shooting took place before the victims self-transported to the hospital.
The investigation carried out by the Aggravated Assault Unit is ongoing and details surrounding what precipitated the shooting have yet to be unveiled, no suspects have been named thus far.
