Special Agent in Charge Jason Williams, who recently endured a severe head-on collision while on duty, has authorized an update on his recovery progress. The West Tennessee Drug Task Force took to social media to convey its appreciation for the support it's received during this period.
According to the Task Force's post, Williams and his family have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them. The agent has gone through three surgeries and is reportedly recovering well. "Yesterday he was transferred from Regional 1 to a rehabilitation center to begin strengthening and conditioning his leg," the West Tennessee Drug Task Force stated. Concerned individuals have sent gifts and cards from across the nation. "These things have lifted his spirits and helped him in his healing process tremendously."
