Outdoor enthusiasts in Peachtree City can once again enjoy the trails at Line Creek Nature Area, as the Wetland Trail walking bridge has officially reopened. The City, in its latest announcement, confirmed that this particular path is now again traversable post the necessary repairs that kept it out of commission for some time.
On the flip side, the Creek Trail bridge, known for its parallel tracks along the Line Creek, isn't quite ready and remains closed. As the City of Peachtree explained in their statement, "This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of all trail users as we carry out essential maintenance to restore the bridge and improve long-term accessibility."
The City encourages visitors to explore the other open trails at Line Creek Nature Area. For updates, check the City’s social media or weekly newsletter, The Slice. For questions, contact the Recreation and Special Events Department at (770) 631-2525.
