
Early Wednesday morning, a juvenile was wounded in a shooting incident in northwest Oklahoma City, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement and emergency personnel. The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed the occurrence of the shooting around 4:15 a.m. near the intersection of Hefner Road and Western Avenue, as reported by KOCO.
A 14-year-old boy was shot near North Western Avenue and West Hefner Road and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not said what led to the shooting or if anyone has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing, according to KFOR.
