
A tragic event unfolded on Monday late evening as Morgan Myers, a 20-year-old from Clermont County, was found with a fatal gunshot wound in a car in Springfield Township. At approximately 10:35 p.m., police arrived on the scene on Brookway Drive, near W Kemper Road, finding Myers unresponsive within the vehicle, LOCAL12 reported.
Soon after the arrival of the police, Myers was transported to Mercy Fairfield Hospital, where, sadly, he was pronounced dead by medical professionals. His unresponsive state was described, painting a grim picture at the scene.
The Springfield Township Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section is currently delving into the matter as a homicide investigation, as there have been no arrests or detentions regarding the incident yet, according to information provided by Lt. Chris Niehaus. The authorities have asked the public to contribute any information that could assist the ongoing investigation, FOX19 noted.
