Evenings are unlikely to offer much relief, as overnight rain chances continue. Combined with humidity levels holding steady around 81%, the region is experiencing a textbook Southern summer, characterized by persistent mugginess and unpredictable rainfall.
Temperatures will remain steadily warm throughout the period, with daytime highs nearing the mid-80s and overnight lows settling in the upper 60s. The heat shows no signs of easing and will be accompanied by the potential for heavy downpours, most likely before 2 a.m. tonight and again after 2 p.m. on Saturday. The National Weather Service, in its extended forecast, also indicates a 50% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, following slight chances of showers in the morning.
