Atlanta Community in Mourning After Unsolved Fatal Shooting on Middleton Road

A somber mood has settled over the Northwest Atlanta community following a fatal shooting at 3086 Middleton Road NW. At approximately 4:37 a.m. last Saturday, Atlanta Police responded to reports of gunfire and a person injured at the scene, according to the Atlanta Police Department's press release.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 34-year-old man besieged by multiple gunshot wounds; he would later succumb to these injuries, pronounced dead at the hospital where he was critically transported in a desperate bid for survival.
