A 31-year-old man was arrested after being caught performing drag stunts with a child in the front seat on Edgewood Avenue SE in Atlanta. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on June 7, when police observed Alexander Parrott laying drag at an intersection.
When officers pulled the vehicle over, they discovered a child in the front passenger seat. As per FOX 5 Atlanta report, bodycam footage shows the officer questioning Parrott, saying, "Are you crazy? You've got a child in the car. Are you crazy?" The child’s father, who arrived at the scene, responded, "But he had his seatbelt on."
WSB-TV reported that Parrott now faces several charges, including obstruction, reckless driving, laying drag, modified exhaust, altered suspension, impeding traffic flow, and failure to maintain lane.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and court proceedings are expected to follow.
