Avondale drivers, mark your calendars and maybe find a new route—median reconstruction is kicking off next month and it's going to squeeze Dysart Road down to a crawl. Starting July 7 through August 15, the City of Avondale's Engineering Department and Talis Construction are tearing up and redoing the median at Coldwater Plaza North and South. The announcement was made recently, and you might want to heed their warning: "Motorists traveling in the area are advised to exercise caution in the work zone and to follow all posted signage," as noted by the City of Avondale's news release.
The City of Avondale is quite aware that these type of improvements can be a real nuisance and they’ve tipped their hat in appreciation for everyone's future patience, saying, "The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this necessary maintenance work."
